To keep away from harmful microorganisms, the cooking area must be cleaned always. The pots and the cooking should be properly cleaned, washed and stored. When talking about ingredients, always make sure that what you are cooking are fresh ingredients. If you are not sure of the ingredient, then don’t use it. Spices such as sugar, salt and ketchup should be properly sealed so no insects can get inside. Before the actual cooking, always wash the ones that you will be keeping.
